More EXCELLENT Tree Destruction Imminent on the Charles River from the Destructive Cambridge City Council.
1. Phil Reports.
Sent 10/15/19:
Hi Bob. I was disturbed to find red dots spray-painted on the trunk of a venerable old maple at MB the other day. It's the only tree near the water that survived from the pre-2009 work. It is next to the baseball diamond. A pic is below, with an inset detail enlargement of the red dots which go all around the trunk.
2. Analysis.
Phil’s concerns about the orange marks are emphatically demonstrated in our video on the destruction of hundreds of mostly excellent trees east of this area by Cambridge and the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation. These are marks of DOOM. The video is posted at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pTplCCEJP7o.
I have checked the destruction plans filed with the Cambridge Conservation Commission as I passed them on to the Cambridge City Council by my letter of June 6, 2017. This is yet another SECRET addition to the destruction plans. So this makes the mostly excellent trees being destroyed increase to 60 to 62.
The plans with corresponding photos are posted at http://focrwg.com/agenda1.html. That package said 54 to be destroyed.
There were many destroyed without responsible notification that we are aware of. That brings the destruction we are certain of up to 60.
The reason for the variation in numbers is excellent trees chopped up and piled next to the 80 year abandoned bathhouse in this picture. We are not certain where these destroyed trees came from. There clearly are at least two and they clearly were destroyed as a result of the city council’s second SECRET funding vote on the ongoing outrage.
In other recent developments, the Cambridge City Council has reacted to my report on the poisoning of the Charles River, essentially posted at https://charlesriverwhitegeeseblog.blogspot.com/2019/09/state-agency-admits-to-poisoning.html.
A complaint from me to the Cambridge City Council at the time of destruction e is posted by the City of Cambridge at http://cambridgema.iqm2.com/Citizens/FileOpen.aspx?Type=1&ID=1875&Inline=True. Pages 163 to 167
The Cambridge City Council at its most recent meeting funded the appointment of the Poisoner of the Charles River to do further environmental activities on the banks of the Charles for the Cambridge City Council. This was buried in a very complicated package called Community Preservation Act actions. There was no meaningful public hearing or advance public communication.
The proof of the Charles River poisoning was provided to me to the Cambridge City Council in a letter essentially published on this blog at: https://charlesriverwhitegeeseblog.blogspot.com/2019/09/state-agency-admits-to-poisoning.html.
The immediately previous link is to city records. This link is to my blog report on the corresponding letter. The differences in content tends to be minor, except that the letters do much more effective work with graphics. If you try to check the prior link, you will find that you are opening a very large file and then have to scroll through 163 pages to get to the letter. On line you have it directly.
The nicer things are worded in Cambridge, the greater the possible danger of the action. Those activities by the Charles River Poisoner will very likely lead to the destruction of the excellent seven tree grove across from the Memorial Drive MicroCenter shopping center and west of the Magazine Beach Swimming Pool:
Here are two photos of the doomed grove:
The electorate in the City of Cambridge expects environmental responsibility from its City Councilors.
At the same time as moving this outrage forward with various mostly SECRET votes, the Cambridge City Council passed a tree protection ordinance. It EXEMPTS the City of Cambridge.
There is a lot of lying about environmental sainthood from the Cambridge City Council.
