1. Introduction.

Cambridge has devoted its display room in its City Hall Annex to a puff piece on Magazine Beach.

I did not look much at the main display.  It probably says that the outrage inflicted through lies and deception on Magazine Beach was the greatest thing going.

More importantly, it almost certainly tells folks not to look at the hundreds of trees Cambridge and the Department of Conservation and Recreation are about to destroy on Memorial Drive.

What I looked at was the part on the Charles River White Geese which was, as usual, beautifully written, and, also as usual when they have been reprehensible, claims exactly the opposite of them being reprehensible.

My thoughts on this outrage are growing to such an extent that this will wind up as several parts.

I will start with Lies of Omission and go from there.  I will try not to duplicate any more than I can help.

2. Lies of omission.

Cambridge and the DCR are great achieving their lies of holiness through outrageous omissions of vileness.

The DCR is more blatant.  Cambridge is more subtle.  The achievement is the same.

Here are a few.  I almost certainly missed a lot.

a. Goal: Kill off or drive away all resident animals on the Charles River Basin.

Cambridge treats the Department of Conservation and Recreation as equally holy to the City of Cambridge.

Key in their omissions in their analysis of the outrages inflicted on the Charles River White Geese is the omission of a dominant policy of the DCR which we kept hearing about from the DCR each time the DCR made their vile behavior even more file.

They have a sanctified document called the Charles River Master Plan.  The fine print in this document makes their intent clear.

This supposed environmental entity has as a prominent goal concerning resident animals.

That goal is the killing off or driving away all resident animals including the Charles River White Geese in spite of their obvious beauty and value.

And they have inflicted this goal on these beautiful, popular, extremely valuable 33 year residents every time the DCR has an opportunity to turn the screws.

This goal directly conflicts with the pitch we were given constantly when they were initially selling these outrages, the goal of valuing water related uses.  33 year resident waterfowl are most definitely water related uses.

There is nothing neutral about the DCR policy on resident animals.

For Cambridge to give any other impression is an outright lie.

b. Cambridge is a coconspirator to the DCR.  Cambridge and the DCR have outrageous contempt for the environment and resident animals.

Just a few examples.

(1) The outrage at Magazine Beach.

Rossi, the current Cambridge City Manager managed the outrage at Magazine Beach.  The Cambridge City Council spent millions on this outrage.

And Cambridge is blessing the DCR as saints without mentioning that Rossi manage the project.

And the Cambridge City Council is yelling about migrant circus performers with filthy hands of their own.

To make it worse, Cambridge is putting on a display which, quite assuredly (I did not bother look at anything else) lies that the environmental outrage they inflicted is saintly.

(2) Chapter 286, acts of 2014, historic parkways, $20 million.

This year the State House put in $20 million for destruction of hundreds of trees between the BU and Longfellow Bridges in Cambridge.

The stated destroyer is the DCR.

This project was vetted with city planners athttp://charlesriverwhitegeeseblog.blogspot.com/2014/04/tree-destruction-plans-charles-river.html.
its origin.  The Cambridge City Council received the plans while destruction was in front of the legislature and was belligerently “neutral”.

Here is a photo of the excellent tree overlooking the ghetto to which the Charles River White Geese have been imprisoned without food.  This tree is just east of the BU Bridge.  It is normal size for the destruction being inflicted.

Here are photos of the excellent grove at the Memorial Drive split which is slated to be devastated.  These trees are smaller than most of the trees being callously destroyed, but the accumulation is excellent.

Destruction would include construction in that heartless ghetto to which the Charles River White Geese are confined without food.

(3) Massive destruction at the Alewife reservation.

Cambridge and the DCR destroyed 3.4 acres of irreplaceable woodlands in the Alewife reservation behind 165 CambridgePark Drive.

The destruction could not avoid mass killings of residents, animals whose families have resided there for Centuries.

Here is a photo of this outrage from a puff piece distributed by Cambridge.  The trees on the edge used to occupy the entire area.

A routine lie on this outrage comes out of the Cambridge City Council.  They have destroyed 3.4 plus acres of the irreplaceable Alewife woodlands and probably will destroy the rest of their possessions.

What is their explanation?  Repeated yelling at private developers in the same woodlands, obeying municipally created zoning.

Hypocrisy, thy name is the Cambridge City Council.

(4) Cambridge Common.

The Cambridge City Council is on the verge of outrageous destruction on the Cambridge Common.

The excellent grove leading from Harvard Square will be devastated.

Here is a photo of the area where destruction is threatened and is clearly imminent if not already accomplished.

(5) Cambridge City Council supported environmental outrages under the River Street and Western Avenue Bridges.

As near as I can gather, AND I COULD BE WRONG, this destruction in the Charles River did not pass with the massive tree destruction voted in at the State House.

The outrages in the Charles River were supported by the Cambridge City Council and condemned by the Massachusetts Department of Transportation which replaced the DCR in responsibility for these bridges.  MassDOT considered the project environmentally destructive and wasteful of state funds.

(6) Cambridge is considering further destruction at the ghetto to which the Charles River White Geese on an irresponsible route for a bike highway.

This is part of a bike highway which is proposed to run through the ghetto of the Charles River White Geese.

Here is their map.  Construction would place a fence dividing into two halves the ghetto in which so much destruction has been done from the adjacent hillside / animal habitat.

The J figure just to the left of the river would devastate the Destroyed Nesting Area to which the Charles River White Geese are no confined.  A fence would be constructed between the ghetto of the Charles River White Geese and the wild area above the Grand Junction Railroad (running diagonally).  The Charles River White Geese have been forced into the wild area for nesting because of all the destruction which has been inflicted on their ghetto home.

Here are a few photos of the area.  Please note that the ground destruction was forced on the Charles River White Geese by agents of the DCR.  I will go into this area in more detail below.

The railroad is at the top of the hill in the first photo.

Here is a recent photo of the Charles River White Geese hunting for food along the Grand Junction Railroad.  This is the proposed location of the Bike Highway with the fence paralleling the track.  Above the Charles River White Geese is Memorial Drive.

If Cambridge had a responsible City Government, the bike highway would connect to an end at Memorial Drive.  There are two possible alternate routes.

I have proposed cutting through to the curve of Vassar Street and then to Memorial Drive.

Massachusetts Institute of Technology has proposed it connect to Vassar Street at the existing crossing by Fort Washington, go about two blocks on Vassar Street, and connect to Memorial Drive by Amesbury Street.

Here is MIT’s map of the alternate area.

The foodless ghetto to which the Charles River White Geese have been confined is at point number 4.  The proposed bike highway / current Grand Junction Railroad runs diagonally up and to the right from point 4.

The bend to which Bike Highway construction could readily be made is the blue line directly below the Grand Junction.  The connector is currently a parking lot, and a relatively small taking would be necessary.

The MIT proposal is to the right of this, marked “1".  The portion of Vassar Street to be used is colored blue and then reddish.  The connector over the Grand Junction to Fort Washington Park is colored olive and the word “Fort” off the map.

(7) Cambridge’s outrage crossing the Charles River.

Here is another MIT map showing the crossing of the Charles River which Cambridge is working for.

The proposed bike highway with its fence on land would go over the Grand Junction Bridge which runs left-right under the BU Bridge (diagonal).

Here is a photo of the current situation on the Boston end.

MassDOT has announced its intention to omit related construction on the Boston side as part of its reconstruction of the Massachusetts Turnpike, which is on the far left in the map photo.

According to one fighter for this outrage in a public meeting.  MassDOT's decision will mean a minimum of three years delay in destruction for this project.

Cambridge’s City Council has authorized discussions with Boston to get around MassDOT’s pending decision.

(8) Use of fake group to fight for outrages.  Sample of outrages

Portions of this subsection could be in the show with major sugar coating.  I did not dignify them with examination of their nonsense.

A fake group close to Cambridge and the DCR have been fighting for all these new outrages and to expand them, using corrupt tactics to fabricate supposed actions by the fake group.

The fake group have fought to keep in place outrages at Magazine Beach which are highly destructive and were put in place through outrages lying.  Details are presented in subsequent sections.

Key is the company union tactic of claiming concern for the Charles River and calling it anti Charles River to defend the Charles River.

Under their propaganda, it is politically incorrect to look at anything on the Charles River except for a building which has not been used in 80 years that they want to convert to retail.

This clear unwavering claim of demand for political correctness has been expanded to include other DCR goals for new destruction:

(a) Put in a bike highway through the area west of Magazine Beach.  This would connect to the outrages in Ch. 286, Acts of 2014, “Historic Parkways

(b) Destroy healthy grass in that area to replace it with sickly grass that needs poisons and thus fancy drainage, both as done at the Magazine Beach playing fields.

(c) Probably yet another bizarre wall walling off the banks from the river as was done through lies at the playing fields.  The purpose at the playing fields is to starve the Charles River White Geese.  Nowhere else on the Charles River Basin is bordering vegetation allowed to grow without being chopped down twice a year.  The starvation wall simply grows.

Here are before and after pictures.

(d) Destroy the little guys parking lot on that hill, at the foot of Magazine Street.

Never justified.  The DCR and the fake group are currently working on justifying the destruction.

Here are current photos.

(9) The falsely named “Charles River Conservancy.”

This outrage will be extensively discussed in subsequent sections.

c. The DCR is an entity which is held in contempt by a significant percentage of state legislators.3

The DCR was stripped of a lot of its power by the legislature because its apologists would not allow it to lose more power.  On the Charles River, significant power has been transferred to the Massachusetts Department of Transportation.  MassDOT is a normal, responsible agency.  Cambridge and its bedmate, the DCR, are highly bad entities.  The destructiveness and wastefulness of the DCR has earned broad contempt.  Cambridge shares the goals of the DCR and blesses very much all major decisions in and around Cambridge.

MassDOT has been a breath of fresh air.

I recently praised MassDOT for its commendable behavior in the area it has replaced the DCR.  That commendation was severely inadequate.  MassDOT has stood up to outrages stemming from the City of Cambridge in multiple areas and has stood up to DCR initiated outrages, all of which are fought for by the Cambridge Machine.

I will go into the reality of these two entities in the future.

d. DCR does a lot of lying.

The terrible things which have been done at Magazine Beach directly conflict with policies supposedly supported by DCR.  I will go into greater detail in the heartless abuse segment.

A couple of key lies have come with regard to (1) the heartless abuse of the Charles River White Geese, as a general matter, and (2) the massive tree destruction just supported by the State House.

(1) Heartless abuse of the Charles River White Geese — lies achieving them.

When the attacks on the Charles River White Geese started by friends of the DCR and Cambridge, there was major stink.  The press was so strong the reports even ran to the Wall Street Journal.

The concern was deflated by a flat out lie repeated and repeated by the key manager.  He has “no intent” to harm the Charles River White Geese.

Secret definition of “harm” does not include any of the many outrages, including deliberate starvation which Cambridge and the DCR have inflicted.

(2) The destruction of those hundreds of trees.

The Boston Globe did a story when the DCR sought Obama moneys for this destruction in 2009.

The flat out lie then was that ALL the targeted trees were diseased.

ALL DISEASED TREES WERE DESTROYED YEARS EARLIER.  But they put out that lie anyway.

(3) In short.

A public entity is assumed to be honorable.  The flat out lies are very effective as a result.

People simply assume a public agency has honor.  That is a severe error when dealing with the rottenness of the DCR.

3. Summary.

I am much more likely to get this response out if I do it in parts.  And it will be more readable.

So I am stopping here.  I may add to this list as my mental organization fleshes out.
