Charles River Banks in Boston

Boston Conservation Commission expressed outrage at destruction of vegetation here by DCR Robots, destruction being flaunted by Cambridge / DCR Robots at Magazine Beach.  Now the Cambridge Robots are adding related poisoning of the Charles River.

The same robots are fighting to move Soldiers Field Road on top of the banks of the Charles River which were defended by the BCC from attack by the earlier DCR robots.  They want this in the Mass. Pike (I90) Rebuild.  The Cambridge Robots are using tactics similar to the way they assisted in the  Cambridge / DCR destruction of hundreds of trees and habitat east of the BU Bridge.

1. Introduction.

3. Behavior by neighboring communities contrasted to Cambridge, DCR and Robots..
A. Boston.
B. Arlington.
C. Cambridge / Robots / DCR Activities at Alewife.
4. Summary.

Gentlemen / Ladies:

1. Introduction.

This follows on ours of December 11, 2017, received by the Cambridge City Council at its meeting of December 18, 2017, RE:  Charles River: Destruction on Magazine Beach gets Worse, DPW Involvement.  For the benefit of the new councilors, We are enclosing a copy (attachment 1). [Ed: See Section IV below]

It turns out that this outrage will also include two years of poison drainage into the Charles River.

We are also enclosing (attachment 2) a copy of order 2 of December 11, 2017, in which the City Council expresses concern about poisoning of the Merrimack River and other smaller poisonings of waterways including the Mystic River near Cambridge and which supported state legislation to remedy poisoning of waterways. [Ed: Section III, below.]

This destruction at Magazine Beach certainly appears to be part of the destruction supported by the Cambridge City Council in its order 1 of April 24, 2017.  We have gone into great detail debunking the “dead or dying” nonsense upon which City Council supported massive tree destruction, and responding to other environmental outrages supported by the Cambridge City Council by this vote.

Our extensive analysis in our 51 page June 6, 2017, communication went into the destruction supported by this motion.  We strongly encourage the new City Council to reverse it.  We have provided individual DVD copies of the letter with its extensive graphic analysis for the benefit of the members of the past council.  We will be pleased to provide copies to the members of the new Council who so wish, including carryover members.  We also provided a number of follow ups to provide updates on destruction by the DCR, including destruction the DCR kept secret in the “plans” which we passed on to the City Council.

You may also view our June 6, 2017 report in the city on line records at http://cambridgema.iqm2.com/Citizens/FileOpen.aspx?Type=1&ID=1815&Inline=True, pages 198 to 249.  As we recall, however, the city file, with the other documents from that meeting runs over 500 pages.  It is a slow download.  We also have the document broken into email sized PDF portions which we would we be pleased to provide to anyone who wishes as email attachments.

2. Poisons being introduced into the Charles River by the DCR / Cambridge Robots.

It just so happens that, upon further information, the Robots of the Department of Conservation and Recreation and of the Cambridge Development Department whom we reported are destroying the environment at Magazine Beach are also poisoning the Charles River.

Here is just one of the photographs included in the attachment.  [ed: see section IV for URL]

The purpose of this introduced wetlands is to act as a drain to keep DCR / Cambridge poisons from draining into the Charles River.

Before the Cambridge / DCR outrages of the 2000's, Magazine Beach was a pristine environment.  Cambridge and the DCR introduced poisons into that environment as part of the 2000's outrages and spent a lot of money with these expensive drainage systems to drain off the new poisons and keep the new poisons from draining into the Charles River.

The leader of the present destruction also looks like the leader of related entities which succeeded in helping the DCR and Cambridge destroy hundreds of trees between the BU and Longfellow Bridges.  She is also leading the fight to destroy 56 mostly excellent trees at Magazine Beach along with related outrages.

I had an interesting discussion with one of her representatives in which he denied that the fake protectors are fighting for destruction.  When that denial did not work, he bragged that all they are destroying are “dead or dying” trees in accordance with the lie which seems to have originated in order 1 of April 24, 2017.  He reversed sides without missing a beat.  Such lack of honesty in key individuals has been a major factor in destruction to date.

In any case, the lead destroyer has reported to the entities on the mailing list of her censored ListServe (the lies are so outrageous that they cannot survive without censoring responsible responses) that she and the DCR intend to keep these tarps in place for two years.  She were seeking stones, bricks and other devices to hold down the tarp for two years.

I saw somebody, probably her, apparently delivering such items on a child’s cart to the poison drainage area a few days ago.  The individual was the correct size but very heavily dressed against the elements.

In addition to the usual heartless animal abuse reported in our last letter, they plan to prevent removal of poisons from Magazine Beach which are being dumped there by Cambridge and the DCR.  In our report on Bee Keeping, dated at December 5, 2017, and received by the City Council on December 11, 2017, we went into some animals Cambridge and the DCR are poisoning even with the poison drainage system.

By blocking drainage in this, the largest portion of the introduced poison drainage system, poisons Cambridge and the DCR are dumping on the Magazine Beach playing fields will flow into the Charles River.

This certainly sounds like the sort of behavior the Cambridge City Council was decrying on the Mystic and Merrimack Rivers in Order 2 of December 18, 2017 [ed: section III below], but Cambridge makes such outrages that much more disturbing because of Cambridge’s non stop self proclamations of sainthood.

3. Behavior by neighboring communities contrasted to Cambridge, DCR and Robots.

A. Boston.

I have been present in a meeting of the Boston Conservation Commission in which the Boston Conservation Commission roundly condemned the DCR for destruction of vegetation in Boston across the Charles River from Magazine Beach.  The destruction sounds pretty much identical to the sort of destruction being accomplished at Magazine Beach.

The BCC was flat out shocked that the DCR could behave so irresponsibly.

Here is a photo of the south side of the Charles River across from Magazine Beach.

It was here or near here that other robots of the DCR were doing destruction similar to the outrages being inflicted on Magazine Beach which are now expanding into two years of poison drainage into the Charles River.

But the responsible people in Boston on the Boston Conservation Commission were disgusted by the destroyers.

In pretty much the same location, the same fake protectors in Cambridge are fighting to move a highway over a portion of the Charles River as part of the Mass. Pike (I90) rebuild.  They, of course, loudly lie that they are pro environment.

B. Arlington / DCR.

Here is a photograph of a portion of the Alewife Reservation north of Route 2 in Arlington.  The marker certainly looks like a DCR marker.  If so, the DCR is destroying in Cambridge what it is managing in Arlington.

The difference very clearly is that Arlington has a responsible government, as does Boston.

The photo and the resident photo below were taken last Friday, December 23, and provided by Phil Barber who comments:

* * * * *

It looks like the poor, unenlightened souls in Arlington have allowed The Fearsome Phragmites to “invade” a wetland and turn it into a beautiful functioning ecosystem without all-wise humans correcting Nature’s errors!

* * * * *

We certainly hope that the Cambridge City Council expresses the same concern about the environment as  Arlington / DCR at Alewife and stands up to the ongoing vegetation destruction at Magazine Beach and poisoning of the Charles.

C. Cambridge / Robots / DCR Activities at Alewife.

By contrast to responsible behavior in Arlington and Boston, Cambridge and the DCR have destroyed 3.4+ acres of the “irreplaceable” Silver Maple Forest at Alewife.  In separate comments chastising developers, it is our understanding that the Cambridge City Council referred to the Silver Maple Forest as “irreplaceable.”  Such comment came in a series of lovely motions chastising developers who were obeying municipally created zoning in the area.

There is the usual fake protective group at Alewife.  The organizer / leader roped people into the group by telling them to yell at developers on private property.  She also told folks not to yell at the city council about zoning or about the public properties threatened in the area.

After Cambridge and the DCR destroyed 3.4+ acres of the Silver Maple forest, the organizer / leader of the fake protective group then proceeded to run around the city bragging about the municipal destruction.  She even put her praise into a letter or oped published in the Cambridge Chronicle.

The robots in her group, although the “leader” was publicly bragging about destruction of 3.4+acres of the Silver Maple Forest, as far as I could gather, would not even consider throwing her out of the organization.  The “leader” of the group remains in the group in spite of her clear lack of fitness for the expressed purposes of the organization.

The City Council protected what is now a former parking lot located between Alewife Station and Route 2.  They downzoned the parking lot for open space.  When the developer proceeded with his project, he acknowledged that the zoning was the reason he returned the parking lot to open space.

That zoning change was led by Sheila Cook and written by me.  Members of the fake protective group treated Sheila Cooke like crap.  As part of their belligerent mistreatment, members of the fake protective group then proceeded to conduct a public celebration of the return to the environment of the parking lot.

The celebration KEPT SECRET THE ZONING CHANGE WHICH ACHIEVED THE CHANGE IN THE PARKING LOT AND KEPT SECRET THE CRUCIAL EFFORTS OF SHEILA COOK AND OF ME.

Business as usual for the fake protective groups.

Here is the current zoning map of the area marked to show responsible behavior, and some irresponsible municipal behavior, not counting the games played with the buildings that replaced open space.  Buildings in Cambridge in the area are outlined.  The area is marked by use with key points, but no attempt is made to provide boundaries except as shown on the map.

Double clicking will greatly enlarge.

Translation of the markings in the zoning map is:
I. Alewife Subway Station.
II. Route 2.
III. Approximate point of Phil Barber’s photo.  The white area is Arlington.  At the bottom right corner of the Arlington area is part of the path Phil photographed.  I understand that the portion of the path in the photo is north of Massachusetts Route 2 in Arlington.
IV. Area converted from parking lot to open space (OS) because of the Sheila Cook zoning change.  Credit belonging to Cook and to me was KEPT AS SECRET AS POSSIBLE BY THE FAKE PROTECTIVE GROUP.
V. 3.4+ acres destroyed by Cambridge and the DCR with bragging by the leader of the fake group.

Here is a photo of area V in the middle of the destruction.

The trees seen filled the entire area of the photo until the destruction by Cambridge and the DCR.

Destruction was achieved / bragged about by the leader of the local fake protective group, using the same technique the string pullers in the fake group on the Charles River have used and continue to use in their fight for increasing destruction on the Charles River:

Don’t look at what I and my friends are destroying.  Look at what I tell you to look at.

Here is a photo of an Alewife resident looking for food.  It was taken by Phil at the same time as the Arlington photo.

We have previously provided the City Council with photos of a plaque in a propaganda show in City Hall Annex by which the lead destroyer and her friends disputed the right of animals to live in public open spaces in Cambridge. [Ed: See Section V below]

Below are photos of Area IV in 2011, in the process of return to nature, The big tree was previously in the middle of the parking lot, as I recall.

The pathway in the last photo is the winding line under IV in the map.

4. Summary.

Cambridge can join the rest of the world.

Cambridge has had spots of responsible behavior.

The outrage on the Charles River in January 2016, is frightening and is slated to get worse.

We spelled out the 2016 outrage in our video, at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pTplCCEJP7o.  “City Manager” references in this video refer to the predecessor of the current City Manager.  An international expert’s analysis of “improvements” is in our video at https://youtu.be/dWyCdcWMuAA.

We spelled out plans at Magazine Beach supported by Cambridge City Council Order 1 of April 24, 2017, and we debunked the “dead or dying” lie in that order which we presume was written by the Cambridge Development Department, at http://cambridgema.iqm2.com/Citizens/FileOpen.aspx?Type=1&ID=1815&Inline=True, pages 198 to 209.  This is our 51 pager with more than a hundred graphics, showing every doomed tree.

We have followed up with updates / expansion, including the destruction of two trees lovingly cared for by the shopping center on the opposite side of Memorial Drive, and NOT SHOWN ON THE DESTRUCTION MAP.

As we pointed out above, the Cambridge City Council has done some good.  The very terrible things done by Cambridge, the DCR and their Robots are in direct conflict with normal, responsible behavior in Boston and Arlington and elsewhere in responsible communities.  These terrible things are in direct conflict with the responsible behavior communicated in Attachment 2, among other communications.

The excellence in Arlington shows responsible behavior toward beautiful and valuable vegetation being destroyed by Robots controlled by Cambridge / DCR.  The Arlington vegetation COULD POSSIBLY HAVE BEEN MANAGED BY THE DCR.

Reality in Arlington and Boston truly DEBUNKS any claims of responsible behavior associated with the destruction ongoing by Cambridge / DCR robots at Magazine Beach and elsewhere on the Charles River.

The idea of massive destruction of excellent trees achieved and planned shows the level of depravity to which Cambridge, the DCR and their robots have sunk.  These outrages are unthinkable in responsible communities.

The nuttiness of spreading poisons INTO THE CHARLES RIVER for two years to destroy valuable vegetation cherished by Boston, Arlington and, perhaps, the DCR, at the same time as decrying poison of waterways by other communities brings to mind the activities of the Cambridge during the January 2016 destruction.

The sense of values shown in the destruction of the environment reflects a mercantile sense, and fancy words to justify make work for contractors.

EXCELLENT TREES A DAY BEYOND MAXIMUM BEAUTY have “no value” to contractors because contractors have not RECENTLY made money from them.

Beautiful vegetation cherished by Boston and Arlington / DCR (?) is of “no value” because contractors are not paid to plant them, even though Harvard’s Arnold Arboretum devotes 25 acres to their display in Harvard’s living museum, as the following article in the Arboretum’s magazine describes in detail  http://arnoldia.arboretum.harvard.edu/pdf/articles/2017-75-1-other-order-sound-walk-for-an-urban-wild.pdf.

Please have mercy on the environment of the City of Cambridge and of the Charles River.  Please call off the Robots with their nuttiness and corrupt tactics.  Stop the poisoning of the Charles.  Stop the bizarre destruction including all of the terrible plans..

Replace the DCR with MassDOT.  End the outrages from the fake protective groups.  Clean up the Cambridge Development Department.

Stop the lies and other corrupt behavior.  Stop the destruction, including items already funded or planned but not implemented, AND REPAIR THE EXISTING DESTRUCTION IN A RESPONSIBLE MANNER.

Sincerely,

Robert J. La Trémouille, Individually and as
Chair, Friends of the White Geese

IV. Apology.

I wanted to put this at the beginning, but have moved it to the end to prevent people running away at the sight of it.  A trouble is that this helps explain Sections I, II and III.

I have been writing this Blog on the Charles River and the threats to its environment since 2005.  During this period, I have avoided like the plague the politics of Cambridge, MA, USA.  One major reason is that the Blog has an international audience, read in 105 or more countries since 2011.  The other is that the real problems in Cambridge are hidden by layers of what is difficult to call other than fraud.  And sifting through the layers of fraud requires very extended analysis.

I have been spending more and more time on these matters in an attempt to communicate to the real people who should be controlling the situation, the voters of the City of Cambridge.  Letters to the Cambridge City Council are now put on the Internet, freely available to those voters.  As a result, I have been putting more and more items into that medium.

The situation gets bad because those letters take so much time, and I want to communicate the problems on this Blog to the wider audience available here, hoping that the wider audience can have an impact.  And that takes time.

The broader audience lacks, of necessity, knowledge of the underlying reality in the City of Cambridge, and the facts of the underlying reality in Cambridge is kept from Cambridge residents as well through the fraud which dominates the political situation in Cambridge.  And that takes time.

The easiest way to handle the Blog is to pass on the City Council letters in an attempt to communicate to the broader world.

I am passing on to you my letter mailed yesterday, December 29, 2017, to the Cambridge City Council and City Manager.  The City Manager, who has stepped into a mess which I hope he will clean up, will probably receive his copy on January 2, 2018.  The City Council will have its next real meeting on January 8, 2018, returning with three new members among its nine members.

The letter itself is an expansion on my prior blog post on December 24, 2017, entitled “Charles River:   Normal, responsible and beautiful behavior from the Town of Arlington at Alewife.”  It was posted at: http://charlesriverwhitegeeseblog.blogspot.com/2017/12/charles-river-normal-responsible-and.html

The letter has included two attachments primarily for the benefit of the three new city councilors.

One attachment has previously been posted here, entitled “Charles River: Destruction on Magazine Beach gets Worse”at:  charlesriverwhitegeeseblog.blogspot.com/2017/12/charles-river-destruction-on-magazine.html.  It was received by the Cambridge City Council on December 18, 2017.

The other is a motion which passed the Cambridge City Council at the next to last meeting.  JPEG’s of that motion are presented above in Section III.

Section II presents the letter to the Cambridge City Council / City Manager.

A very key part of the letter is to communicate that Cambridge behavior is strikingly different from responsible behavior in the neighboring communities of Boston, to the south, and Arlington to the west.  I also compare the situation to the supposed idealism in the city council motion supposedly defending the environment.

The letter also communicates the blatantly egregious behavior of Cambridge’s fake protective group in the Alewife area abutting Arlington.  That fake group, like too many such groups in Cambridge, shares common realities with other fake groups, including the one fighting for destruction of the Charles River.

An additional complexity is that blog posts and paper communications have different capabilities.  My letters are dominated by photos presented in such a manner as to maximize their effectiveness.  In this blog, I cannot repeat the effectiveness of those photos on paper, so I just have to insert them as best I can.

Section I presented a photo and label which dominated the first page of the City Manager / City Council letter.

V. The Fake Groups / Cambridge Development Department make their position on resident animals clear.

This is the plaque from the propaganda show in City Hall Annex mentioned in the Letter:

It is unthinkable that anything was included in that propaganda show which was not acceptable to the Cambridge Development Department.

Additionally, I have had second thoughts about plural in the title.  One of the most belligerent characteristics of the fake groups is that they scratch each others back, and march in lock step.  How dare you say that all groups are responsible for the outrages of one!

I would not be so stupid as to think otherwise.

People attend meetings of the fake group fighting to destroy the Charles River were subjected to constant propaganda about the saintliness of the fake group fighting for destruction in the Alewife reservation.  When things got obvious and the leader / creator of the fake Alewife protective group started running around bragging about the destruction which Cambridge, the DCR and she achieved at Alewife, it was highly clear that she was a fraud.

The leader of the fake group fighting for destruction on the Charles River suddenly discovered that Alewife was not on the Charles River and thus was not in his claimed jurisdiction.  He then censored any and all future discussion of Alewife.  By so doing, nobody could give him the credit he deserved for the destruction his former friend was bragging about, AND WHICH HE HELPED HER ACHIEVE.

But he never communicated OR CONDEMNED the reality of the destruction she, and thus he, was responsible for.

The fake groups fighting for destruction which is exactly the opposite of their stated positions can only survive with censorship and corrupt tactics, combined with non stop claims of saintliness.  They have to censor.  They have to pull corrupt tactics.

They cannot survive meaningful discussion.

Charles River: Normal, responsible and beautiful behavior from the Town of Arlington at Alewife.

Charles River:   Normal, responsible and beautiful behavior from the Town of Arlington at Alewife.

Phil Barber Reports:

Here’s two photos from a visit to Alewife Friday [12-23-17].

It looks like the poor, unenlightened souls in Arlington have allowed The Fearsome Phragmites to “invade” a wetland and turn it into a beautiful functioning ecosystem without all-wise humans correcting Nature’s errors!

And here’s one of the denizens of the place, waiting for lunch to swim by.

Editor: The Alewife reservation is mostly located in a western extremity of Cambridge, MA.  It is partially in the neighboring towns of Belmont and Arlington.

The portion of the Alewife reservation Phil is reporting on is located between the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority’s Alewife Red Line Subway terminal in Cambridge, MA, USA and Massachusetts Route 2, the northern of two east west highways which connect eastern Massachusetts, essentially to the New York border.

A corner of the reservation near the Red Line Subway terminal is in the neighboring Town of Arlington.

Very close to here is the area which was converted from a private parking lot to part of nature as a result of the Sheila Cook zoning petition which I wrote.

Charles River: A concise recent history of the three manager Cambridge City Manager Machine

Charles River: A concise recent history of the Cambridge City Manager Machine

I. Letter to the Cambridge City Council.

In my last communication, I proposed to provide you detail as to what is being gained by the fake neighborhood association which is fighting for massive destruction on the Charles River by whatever dirty trick works,  among other things by belligerent censorship when individuals have the nerve to talk reality.

It has turned out that my communications work better by starting with this concise recent history of the three manager City Manager Machine, and afterward going into more exact detail on the Company Unions, the Robots and some experiences with them drawn out by personal attacks by the destroyers.

2. Robert Healy, Malvina Monteiro, Robots, the three manager Cambridge City Manager Machine, and Sutherland Springs.

The Cambridge City Council named its police station after retired City Manager Robert Healey.

Robert Healy was found by three levels of court to have destroyed the life of Malvina Monteiro in retaliation for her working for women’s rights.

The trial judge, in her extensive and well grounded opinion, found Healy’s actions to be “reprehensible.”  Opinion posted at http://charlesriverwhitegeeseblog.blogspot.com/2009/04/judge-issues-decision-denying.html.  Her analysis quoted Healey’s testimony extensively.

The Appeals Court panel refused to dignify Cambridge’s appeal with a formal opinion.  So it wrote an opinion which it explicitly called not an opinion.  Key in the non opinion opinion was the statement “ample evidence of . . . outrageous misbehavior. . .”  The analysis is posted at http://charlesriverwhitegeeseblog.blogspot.com/2011/08/appeals-court-decision-in-monteiro.html.

The jury had such great contempt for Healy’s behavior that the jury awarded the plaintiff slightly over a million dollars real damages and more than three times that in penal damages.  Penal damages communicate contempt for irresponsible behavior.  More than triple damages is highly unusual communication of contempt.

And the Cambridge City Council named the Police Station after Robert Healy.

Cambridge has very loud and visible women’s rights activists.  I am aware of exactly ZERO who have publicly communicated problems with Healy’s destruction of the life of Malvina Monteiro for fighting for women’s rights.  ALL the “women’s rights activists” loudly proclaim that they are protecting women’s rights.  None of them have public problems with Robert Healy’s name being on the Cambridge Police Station.  A lot of them yell at malfeasants elsewhere in the world, especially Republicans.

I have a friend who has spent much of her life fighting for causes which she is told are politically correct.  When I mention Monteiro to her, I get a response which certainly sounds dictated to her by the powers that be.

She has no problem with Healy destroying the life of Malvina Monteiro because of the very large payments received by Monteiro as a result of the trial.  A lot of women’s rights activists in Cambridge have problems with Republicans paying off women for outrages much less harmful than destroying their lives in retaliation for women’s rights activism.

My friend’s communication definitely sounds like the truly outrageous forms of “truth” which are splattered about Cambridge under the aegis of the three manager Cambridge Manager Machine.  There is no way a normal human being would spout such nonsense without a highly toxic environment.  Reality and decency are tossed on their heads in the City of Cambridge.

People who think they are defending proper causes are turned into Robots spouting nonsense, if you understand what they are saying and if you are not surrounded by a truly vile machine which controls so much of Cambridge politics.  The nonsense too often tends to be exactly the opposite of what the victims think they are standing for.

In its analysis of the Sutherland Spring murders, Time, in its November 20, 2017 issue, reports a record of animal abuse by the killer.  Time, as is stated time and time and time again outside the City of Cambridge, stated that animal abusers too often mass killers are animal abusers.  There are, of course, less extreme levels of outrageous behavior, such as the bureaucratic destruction of Malvina Monteiro’s life, or, perhaps the situations in the seven similar cases mentioned in the City Solicitor’s letter of June 12, 2012 to the Cambridge City Council.

[BOTTOM LEFT OF SECOND PAGE]

3. Destruction at Alewife.

Overlapping the time of the Healy - Monteiro battle, Healy’s government was planning / involved in the heartless abuse of animals at Alewife.  Following is a photo of the achievement of Healy and Cambridge at Alewife.

The City of Cambridge, with the state’s Department of Conservation and Recreation destroyed 3.4 acres or more of virgin woodlands at Alewife, indifferent to the resident animals, of necessity, being heartlessly abused, except to loudly proclaim that they were “allowing” some of their victims to “move” somewhere.

The actual project was directly managed by the successor to Robert Healy as City Manager, Richard Rossi.

But the City Council, on multiple occasions, yelled at developers obeying zoning controlled by the Cambridge City Council in other parts of this same virgin woodlands.  The City Council, in its indignant communications, never mentioned that the City Council controlled the zoning that the City Council was yelling at developers for obeying.

The trees in the outskirts of this picture formerly occupied the entire area of the photo, a forest virgin for more than a century.

4. Destruction on the Charles River, January 2016, and preceding.

About the time that Healy was destroying the life of Malvina Monteiro because she was working for Women’s Rights, Healy’s government was involved in the heartless abuse of animals on the Charles River including, BUT VERY MUCH NOT LIMITED TO the Charles River White Geese.  The 36 year resident gaggle is the most visible, but is not, by any means, the only animals being  abused.  The outrages dates back to a 1997 Cambridge plan.  Rossi managed the 2000's outrage, including the Starvation Wall and the introduction of poisons into a location which had been responsibly managed.

Here are photos of the January 2016 outrage.

Here is a photo of free animals whose habitats have been heartlessly and bizarrely destroyed, wandering about the streets of Cambridge in the middle of the Winter, looking for food after the destruction of hundreds of trees and animal habitat between the BU Bridge and Longfellow Bridge in January 2016.

No such animals, that I know of, were wandering the streets of Cambridge before the destruction on the Charles.

Cambridge has a destructive subculture lying about which side it is on, and giving people they impression that they are”protecting.”

The destroyers tell well meaning people not to look at the outrages the destroyers are fighting for.  They constantly tell folks just to look at the lovely things they tell folks to look at.

Here is a photo in the act of a contractor of the DCR, with Cambridge support, destroying the magnificent cherry grove at the Memorial Drive split.

At the time of the destruction, the members of the City Council had been receiving regular email updates for months.  During the destruction, the updates increased to three or more per week.

The Cambridge City Council “took action.”  DURING THE DESTRUCTION, the Cambridge City Council yelled at circuses passing through Cambridge on the public highway for animal abuse.  The Cambridge City Council was deafeningly silent about the SIMULTANEOUS outrage of the DCR and Cambridge on the Charles River.

My videos on the Charles River outrage are posted at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pTplCCEJP7o (detailed before and after analysis, including analysis at Magazine Beach), and at https://youtu.be/dWyCdcWMuAA (analysis of the “improvements” by an international expert).

Here are a few before and after pictures west of Mass. Ave.  The following page is destruction in process east of Mass. Ave.  Many more photos are in the videos, including some analysis of coming outrages on the Charles.  Our prior reports went into detail on attacks targeted at the 36 year resident Charles River White Geese.

* * * *

A group of Cambridge Machine Robots, in coordination with the City of Cambridge, bragged about animal abuse in a propaganda show fighting for massive destruction on the Charles River in the City Hall Annex.  Part of the bragging is above.

The same folks practice their fight in censorship, agenda abuse, personal attacks, bullying, fraudulent claims of “dead or dying,” and other corrupt tactics that work.

I have even had an apparently standard sales pitch tossed at me claiming nothing to do with the destruction.  Then when that did not work, without a blink, I got handed the “dead or dying” fraud from this person who claimed to have nothing to do with the destruction.  It is possible that one of our information sheets was pulled down by a business based on the “nothing to do with” part of this nonsense.

The standard non stop mantra, supported by all sorts of nonsense:

LOOK AT WHAT WE TELL YOU TO LOOK AT!  DON’T LOOK AT WHAT WE ARE DESTROYING!

II. Analysis of letter to Cambridge City Council.

Normally this blog report is translated to two other media by condensation, Facebook and an email report mostly to residents of the City of Cambridge.  This time the normally condensed versions have become an analysis of the Blog report.

Following is the condensed explanation of the letter in Section II.  The referenced attachments are not provided a second time.  They are all above.

* * * * *

I have been busy.  This communication to the Cambridge City Council was mailed on November 20, 2017 to the Cambridge City Manager and to the City Clerk for the Cambridge City Council who received it at their November 27, 2017 meeting.

The very terrible situation on the Charles River is the result of the convergence of two very terrible government agencies.  One, the City of Cambridge by the Cambridge City Council, does a lot of lying about itself because it has an electorate which demands a responsible city government and which is told this government with its terrible record is the embodiment of sainthood.  The other is a state government entity whose lack of fitness for its job dates back to “planners” who were one stated reason why a prior government entity was destroyed by the legislature.  Respectively the “planners” previously controlled the now destroyed Metropolitan District Commission.  They moved to the Department of Conservation and Recreation with their terrible plans.

The DCR, with the support of the City of Cambridge has partially and very terribly implemented its plans east of the BU Bridge on the Cambridge side of the Charles River.  Now they, with the EXPLICIT support of the Cambridge City Council are fighting for further destruction at Magazine Beach and in other plans shared with the City of Cambridge on the Charles River.  The Cambridge City Council FULLY CONTROLS THE DCR because the Cambridge City Council has the right to seek removal of this clearly unfit agency by petitioning the Massachusetts legislature.

The problem in Cambridge really stems from City Manager control of pretty much all supposed protective groups in the city and at least one very major group outside the city.  This control dates back to James Leo Sullivan’s return to the office in 1974.  The control of “protective” organizations accumulated through his successors, Robert Healy and Richard Rossi.  Through the fake organizations, the City Manager Machine has controlled the voters of the city by a long pattern of lies about the Cambridge City Council, a pattern which really has given the City Manager control of the City Council through the fake groups and their lies.

Control varies.  Control of appointees approaches totality.  Control of the fake groups is not as strong because, while the string pullers in the groups certainly look controlled, it is possible to get normal people into the fake groups and exert control over the fake groups in spite of the wishes of the string pullers.

I promised and have been working on a record of my environmental activities.  I have had more victories than losses using zoning initiatives as an environmental tool.  I have reversed the City Manager control of fake groups in the process.

The November 20, 2017, communication to the Cambridge City Council summarizes recent destruction in the very terrible record of the City of Cambridge on the Charles River and elsewhere.  But the letter also reflects reality because outside forces are not as well controlled by the City of Cambridge, even though the groups influenced by the City of Cambridge commonly communicate a reality which is strikingly different from the reality in the world.

The weakness of the Cambridge City Manager Machine is the lies upon which it is based.  This weakness may or may not be corrected by the current City Manager, Louis A. DePasquale.  DePasquale has shown a willingness to behave responsibly.  The trouble now is that the Machine created by his predecessors, while small in numbers, exerts massive political influence through the fake groups.  The Cambridge Machine has repeatedly elected City Councils controlled by it / the City Manager by lying about supposed saintliness of the record of the City Council.

My November 20, 2017 letter placed on record selective recent City Council actions designed to belie the lies upon which the Cambridge City Council keeps getting elected.

The situation in Cambridge is so bizarre in the totalitarian control of supposed protective organizers so much so that Cambridge even controls its women’s right activists.  And that is getting very strong.

This letter goes into the accomplished and planned destruction on the Charles River, the destruction at Alewife, and the destruction on the Cambridge Common.

But more than that it gets into the destruction of a woman’s life because, while an employee of the City of Cambridge, she had the nerve to fight for women’s rights for female employees of the City of Cambridge.  The destruction of the life of Malvina Monteiro went into the area where the City Managers had made themselves dominant, the appointees.

So Cambridge, with funding by the Cambridge City Council attacked women’s rights by appealing a sound court condemnation of Robert Healy beyond common sense.

The Cambridge City Council proved their own lack of honor by naming the Cambridge Police Station after this City Manager who had been condemned by three levels of court for destroying the life of Malvina Monteiro in retaliation for her working for women’s rights.

In my opinion, Monteiro’s life was destroyed because she stood up to the totalitarian control of politics in the City of Cambridge by the City Manager Machine.  The Women’s Movement in Cambridge is very loud and very strong, and very much silent about the name on the Cambridge Police Station.  There is a very significant presence of women possibly more concerned about Lesbian rights that about the rights of women in general.  That bias could be an alternate PARTIAL explanation for the deafening silence about the name on the Police Station.

At the same time as Healy and the Cambridge City Council fought for the City Manager’s right of totalitarian control of politics, the City Manager Machine was indulged in heartless destruction of the environment in the City of Cambridge including heartless animal abuse.

The letter is quoted in its entirety, with one typo corrected and adaptation to the difference medium of communication, on the Blog at http://charlesriverwhitegeeseblog.blogspot.com/2017/12/charles-river-concise-recent-history-of.html.

Attached to this report are three summary tables of the situation included in the Blog report.  One summarizes Monteiro.  The second quotes Time magazine’s analysis of a mass killer noting there were red flags in his history, including a history of animal abuse, a striking parallel to Monteiro, the totalitarian control of politics supported by the destruction of Monteiro, and the continuing attacks on animals.

The third attachment is a photo of a table included in a propaganda show in the Cambridge City Hall Annex.  The fake group fighting for destruction on the Charles River, in City Hall Annex, bragged about the right of the City of Cambridge and its fake groups to implement heartless animal abuse.  The presence of that outrage in City property, in which the bureaucrats exert massive control, says way too much about the situation in the City of Cambridge.

The particular fake group with the propaganda show on city property throws people off its ListServ if they make comments reflecting reality, or even propose to do so.  The censorship is opposed to the nonstop cheerleading which is all it allows on its ListServ while claiming to be a “neighborhood association,” and other lovely sounding names controlled by the same string pullers.

In my opinion, the Cambridge City Council is based on a House of Cards.  The nonstop lies of politically correct saintliness are clearly proven as lies that by the record of the City of Cambridge and its City Council.  As is the corrupt tactics used to protect that record of lies.

The Cambridge City Council is now fighting for further destruction on the Charles River ON MULTIPLE FRONTS, and it presides over a City Police Station named after a person roundly condemned by three levels of court for destroying a woman’s life because she fought for women’s rights.

Cambridge has a new City Council coming in.  Will the new City Council change the Cambridge City Council to the politically correct saintliness the predecessor City Councils have lied that the City Council possesses?

The current Cambridge City Manager has stood up to the record of his three predecessors.  The Cambridge City Manager has shown he will behave responsibly if the City Council will allow him to do so.  What will the new City Council do?

The future of the Charles River and other major matters depends on the new Cambridge City Council’s interest in truly resembling the saintliness which its electorate demands that the Cambridge City Council possess.  A political house built on lies is a House of Cards.

Charles River: Piety and Reality when it comes to Bees

Charles River: Piety and Reality when it comes to Bees

I delivered the following letter on December 7, 2017 to the Cambridge City Clerk for the City Council and City Manager.  It was received by the City Council at the December 11, 2017 meeting.

The City Council is considering various regulatory matters supposedly to help out the bee population.

The letter responds to the City Manager's input to the City Council on the bee initiatives.

The technical aspects of this report are overwhelmingly the work of Phil Barber.  He knows the technical matters extremely well.

RE: City Manager Agenda Item 6, December 4, 2017, government impact on bees and other resident animals in Cambridge

Gentlemen / Ladies:

Please remember, once again, that two of the most irresponsibly destructive entities in Cambridge with regard to bees and other living beings are the Department of Conservation and Recreation and the City of Cambridge, with open support of the Cambridge City Council as stated in Order 1 of April 24, 2017, plus earlier outrages.

The Charles River has an annual infestation of algae that dates back to the love of the DCR for use of poisons on the banks of the Charles River.  Just prior to the first annual Charles River swim in, managers of the DCR determined that their beloved poisons were not functioning as well as they would like at Ebersol Fields next to the Massachusetts General Hospital.  So they dumped on Ebersol Fields poisons (Round-up sounds right) marked “Do not use near water.”  The next day, the Charles River was dead from the harbor to the Mass. Ave. Bridge with the first of these annual blights.  It is not a confusing matter, just another example of the lack of fitness of the DCR to manage the environment.

During the government destruction at Magazine Beach during the 2000's, managed by Mr. Rossi before he assumed the City Manager position, Cambridge and the DCR instituted the use of poisons on the formerly clean banks of the Charles River in the Charles River playing fields.  Playing fields were decreased in size to accommodate a poison drainage system.

* * * * *

This year, bees have been seen on Magazine Beach suffering from what we understand looks like Round-up poisoning.

Activities of government and related robots on this matter are, of course, in the wrong direction.

Order 1 of April 24, 2017, blessed the outrageously irresponsible plans of the DCR for Magazine Beach.

* * * * * *

In addition to massive destruction of excellent trees and continued heartless abuse of resident animals, the items blessed by the City Council include

1. Destruction of the poison fed and failed playing field grass and replacement with further poison fed grass instead of returning to the environmentally responsible playing fields which existed at Magazine Beach during the 20th Century.

2. Expansion of destruction of responsible grasses and replacement with poison feeding grasses at the top of the hill and in the area behind the swimming pool.

Pike (I90)

* * * * * *

3. Continued destruction of animal habitat which habitat is a side benefit of the poison drainage system.

Destruction is by robots of the City of Cambridge and the DCR.

The robots regularly and proudly destroy valuable ground vegetation needed by resident animals.

For an analysis of the value of such vegetation, please see the following article published in the Magazine of Harvard University’s Arnold Arboretum, http://arnoldia.arboretum.harvard.edu/pdf/articles/2017-75-1-other-order-sound-walk-for-an-urban-wild.pdf.  Arnold Arboretum devotes 25 acres to such vegetation.

4. Continued existence of the truly bizarre starvation wall which prevents access between the playing fields and the Charles River and which

a. turns the playing fields into a facility which might as well be ten miles from the Charles River.

b. implements the goal of the DCR with Cambridge support to kill off resident animals, a goal which is broad enough to include resident bees.

Failure of the DCR and Cambridge’s beloved poisons on the playing fields.  Supposed remedy:  the poison drinking grass will be replaced with more poison drinking grass rather than by bringing back the responsible grasses of the 20th Century which were destroyed by the 2000's outrage, and which are targeted for further destruction instead.

* * * * *

Yelling at / regulating the other guy as is the subject of bee keeping regulations is nice, but is no excuse for continued environmental destructiveness by the City of Cambridge, the DCR and their robots.

Please practice what you preach.

Among other things end the outrage on the Charles River.

End the plans for further destruction on the Charles River hidden in the fine print of the Grand Junction plans.

Use the responsible alternatives for the Grand Junction which we have proposed.

Reverse Order 1 of April 24, 2017.

Replace the DCR with a responsible, although not perfect, entity, the Department of Transportation.

While MassDOT is not perfect, the DCR approaches perfection from the wrong direction, and MassDOT has stood up to outrages originating in the government of the City of Cambridge and in the DCR.

Lovely words primarily aimed at the other guy is a terrible substitute by a government which does not comply with its own lovely words.

1. Introduction.

A few days ago, we reported on destruction at the Magazine Beach playing fields by robots of the City of Cambridge and the Department of Conservation and Recreation.

On December 9, we wandered the area taking photographs.  Further work has been done, probably by the DCR or its contractors.  They love make work for contractors.

The outrages done through their contractors was one reason given for the destruction of the DCR’s predecessor, the Metropolitan District Commission.  Unfortunately, the “planners” guilty of the prior outrages simply moved over to the DCR and, with the support of Cambridge, are proceeding with the outrages so visibly condemned by the state legislature.

We have also reported on the outrageous plans.  Some of the reports are in the final section of this report.

The photos taken on December 7, indicate matters of interest or concern in the poison drainage system, the actual playing fields, apparent waste of recyclable materials and actual support by the City of Cambridge.

Then again, part of the reality of work done admits the bankruptcy of the “improvements” to date.

2. The Poison Drainage System.

A. Prior situation in the part which saw the recent destruction.

The vegetation nearer the camera in the above picture is the next part of the poison drainage system to the west.  This is the vegetation visible in the second prior photo of the Playing Fields.  Stretching left and right straight ahead in this picture is an excellent view of the western side of the largest portion of the poison drainage system.  The attack on this portion of the poison drainage system is the subject of this report.

This October 2016 photo is from the southern extremity of the playing fields, not far from the starvation wall.  The low vegetation running from left to right is the poison drainage system under attack as reported here.  Flowers which are part of the system show to the right.  The tree slightly right of the middle is one of the tiny number of dead trees upon which the fraudulent term “dead or dying” is based, giving the impression that all 56 doomed trees are “dead or dying,” as opposed to the tiny minority which is the honest count.

The trees way back probably include the magnificent grove hanging over the playing fields and doomed by the DCR and by the Cambridge City Council motion 1 of April 24, 2017.

The above photo is taken from directly south of the poison drainage area under attack.  It is the area to the right, with the flowers nearer.  Taken in October 2016, the photo gives a different view of the soccer goal showing in below photos taken December 6, 2017.  Whether it has been moved or not, I do not know.  The big shadow is the result of the massive starvation wall being behind, south, of the camera, and blocking sun.

The above photo, from October 2016, was taken from west of the poison drainage area under attack, the largest of the poison drainage areas.  To the right is the starvation wall, to the left is the southernmost end of this poison drainage area.  Sorry about the lighting.  The sun is to the south, right, and that massive starvation wall really messes things up.

Below pictures, in section 3, show closer photos of the poison drainage area just attacked.  The preceding photos were part of general, massive photos of the entire Magazine Beach recreation area mostly done specifically for the June 6, 2017, 51 page report on the outrage voted for by the Cambridge City Council on April 24, 2016.  The photos below emphasize the poison drainage area.  It, always, is impossible to predict in advance what outrage will happen next.

Just another proof of the statement which has been altogether too true of the DCR and Cambridge since the commencement of these outrages on the Charles River started.

* * *

“Never say they will never stoop so low.”

* * *

B. Situation on December 7, 2017.

Here are photos of the denuded area created by Robots of the DCR and Cambridge at the beginning of December.

This area, the largest area of the poison drainage system, is now completely covered with black tarps in order to smother the remaining phragmite roots (same stuff you put around tomato plants to discourage weeds). Denuded of natural vegetation the whole area was largely under water again after a recent rain.  It is pretty lousy to flood the field mice out of their burrows at the start of cold weather. We have seen their delicate little tunnels just under the snow cover there every winter since the reeds grew in.

An excellent report in the magazine of Harvard’s living nature museum, the Arnold Arboretum analyzes the 25 acre portion of the museum where Harvard is displaying phragmite and other valuable naturally occurring vegetation.

The current lie is “non-native” but they very clearly are as valuable in the ecosystem AS THE STUFF THE CONTRACTORS ARE SELLING, unless you understand the lying definitions for usual lovely terms.  Inasmuch as this is all filled land, “native” is blatant nonsense, unless you are selling things.  The article is on line at http://arnoldia.arboretum.harvard.edu/pdf/articles/2017-75-1-other-order-sound-walk-for-an-urban-wild.pdf

The goal of the DCR with Cambridge City Council support in order 1 of April 24, 2017 and prior actions is to kill or drive away all resident animals.  Bees have been seen in very sick condition.  Clearly the result of the DCR’s beloved poisons.  The addition of those poisons to the clean environment at Magazine Beach was one of the “accomplishments” of the DCR and Cambridge in the outrages of the 2000's.

The drainage system was claimed to make up for the poisons.  Of course, they neglected to mention the impact of the poisons on resident animals, including animals residing in the created poison drainage system.

Naturally growing animals and vegetation have “no value” to the contractors.  They cannot make money on beauty which comes for free, NO MATTER HOW EXCELLENT.  So destroy it and make money for them by replacing it because money is their only thing of value.

3. The Playing Fields.

A. Prior situation.

Please note that the first photo of the prior poison drainage system situation shows brown spots which could have been repaired by the work we report in section B of this section.

The massive grove of trees straight ahead dominates the Playing Fields.  The DCR and Cambridge City Council (order 1, April 24, 2017) want to destroy it, although the DCR plays games.  MAYBE they MIGHT NOT destroy 2 or 3 of the 10.  We agree that a tiny minority are beyond saving, but only a tiny minority are beyond saving.

The DCR also plays games on the count.  What they are destroying, normal people would call 10 trees.  The DCR counts 3 and has a lovely technical “explanation.”

Part or all of the damage in the foreground could have been damage repaired as shown below.  The vegetation shown in the middle is to the west of the poison drainage system reported on above and is a portion of the poison drainage system to the west of the area whose attack is reported here.

The low trees to the left of middle are on the far side of Memorial Drive.  Part of the grove to the left, in front of the pedestrian overpass, is slated for destruction.

The structure barely visible behind the trees in the background is the pedestrian overpass over Memorial Drive.  The whitish portion visible toward the left under the trees is the lower part of the overpass.  The green portion barely visible behind the excellent trees and above the small stands is over Memorial Drive.  A number of trees in this picture are being destroyed by the DCR and by the Cambridge City Council Order 1 of April 24, 2017.

B. Situation on December 7, 2017.

This work has been done north of the principal poison drainage area, between it and Memorial Drive.

With regard to the brown, little landfills, the low boggy spots in the grassy area have been filled in with new topsoil. The massive "reconstruction" of Magazine Beach a few years ago was about improved drainage of the playing fields but here's evidence that it's failed dramatically. We have noted for several years now that most of the lawn is sodden after a rain. There were many puddle-holes in the turf when we were there recently as well. When teams play on the wet grass they tear it up and make mudholes that grow and grow

4. Apparent waste of recyclable materials.

This is a Cambridge Department of Public Works garbage truck picking up the vegetation torn from the ground the previous weekend.  Photo taken on December 7, 2017.

Why is the Cambridge DPW working on DCR turf? Can the reeds not be composted?

5. Open support by the City of Cambridge / Robots.

To the best of our knowledge, Cambridge workers are not supposed to be working on DCR properties, the photographic evidence in section 4 notwithstanding.

Cambridge, through the state budgeting process, pays for DCR operations, which, supposedly, include maintenance of DCR properties.  The long standing failure of DCR to maintain its properties and use of allocated funds for destruction is part of the ongoing outrage.

The fraud by the robots argues that free work by private citizens is helpful to the environment.

The reality is that, through whatever technique used, getting private citizens or the City of Cambridge to do DCR maintenance allows use of corresponding money for destruction, whether outright or by planning for destruction including but very much not limited to work by supervisors when the supervisors should be supervising maintenance.

After the Cambridge DPW workers picked up the remnants from the destruction robots’ work the prior weekend, the truck backed into the area at the southern end of the parking lot.  This is the area with the massive vegetation which blocks the tiny opening in the starvation wall.  The 36 year resident Charles River White Geese had the nerve to go through the opening to feed.

The green structure in the photo below is a solar trash can.  It can be viewed between the first and second introduced obstacle from the left.  Cambridge workers on the garbage truck could have been backing up to the solar trash can to unload it for the DCR.

This is a file photo.

6. Miscellaneous.  More Wild life threatened, tree identification, vegetation destruction.

A. Wasp nest.

A wasp nest was recently spotted on one of the cottonwoods on the 7th.  Here is a photo of it.

B. Next vegetation to destroy.

These people are so destructive, the next question is will they go after the Scotch thistles (which were abundant for the first time this year) have to go, or the evening primroses. They seem to have destroyed a lovely stand of tall flowering perennials which escaped from someone's garden as well as the impressive Joe Pye Weed interspersed with it.

C. Make work for contractors.

One key in the destruction is make work for contractors.  Vegetation and animals which do not cost the government money “has no value.”  This is another mentality in the obvious “reasons” for destroying the truly magnificent trees which are a day past their peak beauty.

The destroyers have found another way to lie about the destruction as having “value.”  Even if the trees they are destroying are excellent, and have 50 years to live, the lie is that they are “in decline.”

So contractors get paid to destroy, and contractors get paid to “replace” five story high magnificent trees with saplings.  The key Robot destroyer recently admitted that they are getting paid to destroy all this vegetation.  Money, money, money.  NOT BEAUTY, MONEY.

The most important thing to these people is make work for contractors.  That was also one of the reasons why the predecessor entity was destroyed by the legislature, too much waste destruction.

Needless to say, there are a slew of bad “reasons” for destruction.

Mentioning this one, of course, does not mean that destruction is not being done to rearrange driveways on Memorial Drive to speed up traffic coming to Memorial Drive off MIT’s new Inner Belt highway, its personal exit from the Massachusetts Turnpike (I90) by way of the Grand Junction railroad bridge over the Charles River.  Ramps to Memorial Drive are in the plans.

D. Censorship, another fake group “created.”

At the same time, the destroyers who lie that they are a neighborhood association are getting even more blatant about their recognition that their own lies cannot stand the test of meaningful responses.  This level of corruption is outrageous.

The “neighborhood association” used to pre censor their ListServ to prevent exposure of participants to responsible positions.  That corrupt situation could not stand exposure to reality.

After I pointed out to City Council and City Manager that advance censorship proves the group meaningless for its claimed function as a “neighborhood association,” the destroyers stopped pre-censorship.

Now they summarily expel from the ListServ those who make comments the string-pullers  disagree with outrageous “explanations,” of course.  Then the string-pullers lie that they are not censoring.  Similar situation, more dishonest, and probably worse because they are hand picking the most vulnerable people to get their corrupt fabrications.

The string pullers have also created another fake group recently, same control, supposedly “independent,” independence yet another lie, of course.

The Cambridge Machine and friends are very skillful at creating lovely sounding “independent” group after “independent” group, as in “look at all the independent groups we have supporting us!  How dare you stand up to all these independent groups.”

The reality is that the interconnections among the string-pullers is so strong that it is silly to consider all these “independent” groups as anything other than just part of the fraud to fool well meaning voters.

A tiny number of robots lying that they are larger than they are in reality.

And an even tinier number PUBLICLY admits going to the Cambridge Development Department or worse to find out what is “correct” thinking.

E. Support on tree identification could be helpful.

We are not positive if we have all these trees ID'd properly. The leaf shape on what we call “cottonwoods” is definitely eastern cottonwood but the trunk distribution is more typical of white poplar, but its leaves look entirely different. We don't recall seeing any of the cottony seeds coming off these trees as the cottonwoods at Alewife, which have identical leaves as far as we can tell.

F. Other Tree Losses, and strengths.

Introduced plane trees at Magazine Beach have died, but red-twig dogwoods are flourishing.

G. City Council / City Manager contact after the fact.

This report will be a change from our recent pattern of posting communications to the City of Cambridge here after submitting them.  We will likely put a shorter version of this analysis into such a city communication after posting this analysis here.

H. Other means of contact.

As of this writing, the Cambridge City Council has one meeting left before three new city councilors take office.  The  outrages distressingly keep coming, and they have major impact to the region.  We will likely have new items to report upon the taking of office of the three replacements.  In any case, all of the new members have been receiving condensed versions of these reports for months as part of a larger email condensation mailing which also goes to the Charles River White Geese Facebook page.

If you would like to friend the Charles River White Geese on Facebook, please do so.  It is a nice form of a petition.
