I just drove the extent of the destruction zone on the Charles River.
There are vast wastelands which, last week, were massive, excellent trees.
The destroyers employed by Cambridge and the DCR were approaching the magnificent willow when I went by.
That was all which is doomed that seemed to be left between the BU Boathouse and the Longfellow Bridge.
It could very easily be in the process of destruction now or be a pile of wood chips in that big truck.
There are still hundreds of trees in the Cambridge / DCR plans between the BU Boathouse and the BU Bridge and apparently doomed.
And Cambridge proceeds with the non stop lies of environment sainthood, implementing those lies with censorship inflicted on me on Sunday. That report, with links to prior reports in this dismal sequence, may be viewed at http://charlesriverwhitegeeseblog.blogspot.com/2016/01/charles-river-cambridge-censors.html.
Really, really rotten, and they keep up the constant lie that they are holier than thou.
I filed the objection to censorship with the city clerk for the city council and passed a key person in the development department coming here.
