1. Summary.

a. Photos from today, November 15, 2015

Things are moving too fast.

I just came through what currently looks like the destruction area.  It looks like all tree protections are up west of the Mass. Ave. Bridge.  That would include nine more trees not yet destroyed.

I have not gone back to that area because the eastern end seems to have seen a start to destruction starting to the east of the BU Boathouse.

Games.  I understand that legislation has been sneaked through which validates destruction here even years after the normal expiration of permits.

I have been working from 2009 plans which seems now to be golden.  Of interest, however, is trees which are not six years old and thus not reported on the plans.  Destruction seems to have started with them, without approval with the 2009 plan.

Naturally, all destruction is kept as secret as possible.

Before and after photos of the area west of the boathouse are in section 3.

b. Reason changes again.

An additional game is that the DCR has routinely been varying its explanation depending on the audience.  Boston residents who have been fighting for destruction may have taken a hike, so the pitch used to bring them in has disappeared, at least for the time being..

The story is back to the original one: Won’t it look great in 40 years?

In particular, these sick people have a holy grail they have not mentioned for awhile: plans for the Charles River which are approaching 200 years out of date.

Since the folks who wrote those plans could not think of cherry trees, cherry trees are being massively destroyed, almost all of them.  The same would appear to apply to that magnificent willow.

The latest lie, as well, is that they are destroying diseased trees or trees which are in the way of their gold plated highways.

They do not mention the fact that there are no diseased trees or next to no diseased trees.

The lie comes from the omission of the non existence or near non existence of diseased trees.

So they use “or” with next to nothing on one side of the “or”.

But the cheerleaders love it.

And the Boston Globe swallowed the flat out lie in 2009 that all trees being destroyed are diseased.

c. Apparently clear fraud.

As near as I can figure out, the lobbying effort in the legislature amounted to the falsely named Charles River “Conservancy” showing a petition for underpasses under three bridges further out on the Charles.  It appears that they lied that the petition for underpasses supported this massive destruction, without, of course, mentioning the destruction.  The words obviously used fit the claim of the name that this entity is conserving the Charles River rather than fighting for its destruction.

Thus, the $20 million looks like it was obtained through fraud.

The falsely named Charles River “Conservancy” openly supported this destruction about ten years ago when fraud was not the in thing.  The destruction has not changed.  They are still using that fake name as well, giving the Legislature the impression that they are the good guys.

Fraud is now the open tool.

And then you have another fake group fighting for destruction with the falsehood of being a neighborhood association “concerned” about the Charles River.

The “City Council” is belligerently environmentally destructive, with falsehoods claiming sainthood about far less important issues than massive tree destruction, and heartless animal abuse.

a. Officials.

Please object to the massive, irresponsible destruction imminent.

These destructive people are people from the bureaucracy which reports to him, using money allocated by the opposing party.  It would be very much to the governor’s advantage to save the people of Massachusetts from the costs of this outrageous boondoggle, financially, politically, environmentally, and from protecting the animals of the Charles River from an acceleration of heartless animal abuse in which Cambridge and the bureaucrats are belligerently guilty.

Additionally, the City of Cambridge approaches being a one party state, and the party is the opposite party of that to which the governor belongs.

Financial help is needed and encouraged.  This blog has a donate button which links to PayPal.  PayPal confuses me.  I am pretty sure I have charged through American Express, and their materials show all credit cards, but they may somehow amount to a debit card type of arrangement, or perhaps they let you use the credit cards the first time. .

Whatever you can do would be of help.

Charles River destruction pending: Governor Letter objecting to Fraud on the legislature in addition to the outrage for which the fraud was used.

Charles River destruction pending: Governor Letter objecting to Fraud on the legislature in addition to the outrage for which the fraud was used.

1. Introduction.
2. Contact Information to prevent this outrage.
3. Letter to Governor Charles Baker, hand delivered November 10, 2015.
4. Attachments to Governor Baker Letter.

1. Introduction.

I have published many reports on the imminent massive destruction on the Charles River in Cambridge, MA.

I have not done many posts in the last few days. That is a result of all the work I have been doing on this issue, plus I am a professional movie actor. I commuted 75 miles each way to a movie shoot which lasted 11 hours yesterday. I was able to supplement my report of November 12 before reporting to the set.

Manipulation is being done in the legislature to get this destruction accomplished as fast as possible. They have a lot to be ashamed of and are trying to make this outrage permanent before responsible people catch them. The problem appears to be clearly a unanimous Cambridge delegation.
In section 3 is the complaint to the Governor of Massachusetts which I hand delivered on November 10. It very prominently objects to the fraud which has been used to fight for this outrage. Some photos I have been wanting to post here are included in the letter.

I would suggest that, should the governor have asked for an explanation from the Department of Conservation and Recreation, the answer, to the extent honest, would demonstrate their lack of fitness to do their job.

A reasonable response on the part of the governor, especially given the outrageous fast track being pursued, would be emergency legislation to transfer to the Massachusetts Department of Transportation DCR responsibilities on the Charles River as follows:

On the Cambridge side: from the Longfellow Bridge to the BU Bridge.

On the Boston side: from the BU Bridge to the end of Soldiers Field Road.

MassDOT is fully capable of promptly ending this outrage if given the power to do so.

Charles River Imminent Destruction, Editor's Update, City Council Letter

Charles River Imminent Destruction, Editor's Update, City Council Letter

1. Introduction.
2. Contact Information to prevent this outrage.
3. Letter to Cambridge City Council, November 12, 2015.
4. Supplement, November 13, 2015.

1. Introduction.

I have not done many posts in the last few days.  That is a result of all the work I have been doing on this issue.

I am a professional movie actor.  Tomorrow I will be commuting 75 miles each way for background work to a movie shoot which, itself, could run 10 to 12 hours.  It will be very difficult to get something out tomorrow.

During the past week, I have added a lot of photos of imminent carnage, and I have hoped to post them.  Maybe I can get out another report today.

But this update is necessary.

It looks like major games are being played in the Massachusetts legislature.  It is highly likely that all members of the Cambridge delegation have filthy hands.

Tuesday, November 10, 2015, I filed a complaint in hand with Governor Charles Baker.

It runs 15 pages and does an excellent photo job of the imminent outrage.  It includes one copy each of all of the 2009 destruction plans which, increasingly are the basis for the outrage.  It attempts to match targets to plan pages.

The graphics of the plans are reduced in size to keep the Internet happy.  Attached to the governor’s letter is a DVD with much larger files.  I have posted these plans, reduced, at http://charlesriverwhitegeeseblog.blogspot.com/2014/04/tree-destruction-plans-charles-river.html.  This was in my transmittal to the Cambridge City Council about a year and a half ago.

The second attachment to the Governor’s letter is my letter in September to the Massachusetts Department of Transportation communicating the real record of the Department of Conservation and Recreation on the Charles River.  This letter ran 20 pages.  That letter is posted at http://charlesriverwhitegeeseblog.blogspot.com/2015/09/charles-river-massdot-plan-for-mass.html.

The third attachment to the Governor’s letter is my letter in response to the fraud of “public input.”  The DCR is giving public input on irresponsible plans at Magazine Beach, and will then ignore the really important stuff.  This public input is the usual fraud.  They started their tree destruction project days before the supposed public input session and are giving no public input on the real horror.

Today, I have transmitted the Governor’s letter to the Cambridge City Council, with the two letter attachments the DVD is a copy of a document in the files of the Cambridge Conservation Commission.  It seemed rather duplicative to include it.

This transmittal is mostly ceremonial because they will not meet to November 23, 2015.

The letter will be posted next Friday by the City Clerk.  That will very probably be too late.  I will put up a link to that posting as soon as I can.  The Governor’s letter, in particular, is excellent.

To put you in touch with a little of this, I am copying the letter to the Cambridge City Council in the last section.

But remember, destruction is imminent.  The Governor appears to be the best bet.  This is a democratic boondoggle.  The governor is republican, and he should have capabilities to stall his people at minimum while fighting for responsible government.  That letter to him by me is a beauty.

3. Letter to Cambridge City Council, November 12, 2015.

City Council, City of Cambridge
c/o City Clerk
795 Massachusetts Avenue
Cambridge, MA 02139

TO THE HONORABLE, THE CAMBRIDGE CITY COUNCIL:

This letter is written individually and as chair of Friends of the White Geese, a non profit recognized by the Attorney General since 2002.  Our mission is to protect the Charles River, its water, its animals, its land, its trees and related from destructive environmental behavior, especially by government entities.

This will formalize my emails and provide much more detail than possible therein.

Enclosed is my letter of November 10, 2015, hand delivered to Governor Baker.

It is incorporated herein by reference including its attachments 2 and 3.  Attachment 1 is my electronic copy of the files of the Cambridge Conservation Commission.  I think the CCC files are adequate.  They are incorporated by reference as well, and are available to you should you so wish.

Please immediately stop the outrage in process on Memorial Drive.

Memorial Drive is certainly much closer than much of the national and international matters which have concerned you.  At a the public meeting to the DCR letter refers, the DCR stated its intent to transfer to you total control of Magazine Beach in accordance with the agreements concerning the outrages there.  The DCR statement was that the only delay in transfer is the will of the City of Cambridge.

In addition to your control of Magazine Beach, you have taken a number of actions with regard to Memorial Drive in the recent past and have various actions pending.

In particular, it would appear that the falsely named Charles River “Conservancy” in its lobbying for this destruction falsely communicated concerning the petitions it provided to the General Court concerning underpasses under the River Street, Western Avenue and Anderson Bridges.  My understanding from the CRC’s first communication about pending legislative funding was that support for underpasses under the River Street, Western Avenue and Anderson Bridges included support for this outrage between the BU Bridge and the Longfellow Bridge.

In addition to obtaining an immediate stop to the outrage between the BU and Longfellow Bridges, I think you should correct the record and inform all entities that you do not support the destruction which is imminent on Memorial Drive between the BU and Longfellow Bridge, that you never have, and that your public support for the underpasses under the next three bridges does not include the massive destruction which is imminent between the BU and Longfellow Bridges.

In the current matter, as well, please note in particular, the fraudulent omission of hundreds of trees located between the Grand Junction railroad tracks and the BU Boathouse, as well as noting the retaining wall, which has consistently been kept secret in public discussions.

Please note the changes which have occurred that render outdated the 2009 plans.  These changes are spelled out in the governor’s letter and occur in the woods between the BU Boathouse and the Hyatt Regency Hotel, and in the magnificent but condemned cherry grove at the Memorial Drive split.

Please also note the latest outrageous con game being inflicted on Memorial Drive by the DCR as stated in more detail in the DCR letter.

Please also note my comments in the MassDOT letter praising the Cambridge Conservation Commission for two past actions.

The attached package with a different cover letter is being delivered pretty much simultaneously to the Cambridge Conservation Commission.

Thank you in advance for your immediate actions.

4. Supplement, November 13, 2015.

Even when you are dealing with an entity as belligerently destructive as the Cambridge City Council, it is tempting to give in to being nice.

I gave in to the temptation for niceness in the letter in section 3.

When dealing with an entity such as the Cambridge City Council, silence in circumstances which call for outrage is support.

Nevertheless, based on the subsequent comments by the falsely named Charles River “Conservancy,” it is silly to consider its statements to the legislature as stated above anything other than fraud.

Based on common sense, it is silly to consider the name under which the falsely named Charles River “Conservancy” presents itself in its ongoing fight for destruction on the Charles River anything other than flat out fraud.

They have no business representing themselves to anybody as fighting to CONSERVE the Charles River.

Charles River: Logging preliminary photos - eighth photos condemned cherry strand and neighbors revisited, update on the ground

Charles River: Logging preliminary photos - eighth photos condemned cherry strand and neighbors revisited, update on the ground

1. Summary.
2 Eighth photos of pending destruction, from October 26, November 5, and earlier.

5. Past Reports in THIS series, and key communications to government agencies.
a. Communications to Public Agencies — Cambridge City Council, destruction plans; MassDOT proposing sanctions; DCR adding to the sanctions.
b. Past Reports in this series.

1. Summary.

This is the most recent report on the imminent logging by the Department of Conservation and Recreation on Memorial Drive on the Charles River.

My blog will not handle all the photos at once.  So I am presenting them in sequence.  This follows on prior reports with the destruction plans, and other photos, plus suggestions on added sanctions for the previously legislatively punished agency in question.

I have gone as far east as the excellent and doomed cherry orchard at the Memorial Drive split, with related trees.  I have some more photos of this eastern area, but am deferring them to update the fully condemned cherry strand at the Hyatt Regency Hotel.

It looks like the area east to the doomed cherry orchard has as much tree protection as can be expected, but there has been different activity there, plus I really did not do that good a job on the photos in the area.  Additionally, the vileness has gotten clearer.

The “approvals” received by the DCR for this outrage are non existent.  They simply asked for money without saying what they were doing.  The DCR has announced a second public meeting for the irresponsible, but far less destructive proposal at Magazine Beach.  That proceeds with the fraud of being a responsible entity.

Naturally, the massive destruction is kept as secret as possible.

The falsely named Charles River “Conservancy” openly supported this destruction about ten years ago when fraud was not the in thing.  The destruction has not changed.

2 Eighth photos of pending destruction, from October 26, November 5, and earlier.

Here are the destruction plans for the areas near the Hyatt Regency Hotel.  These plans were part of the total package provided to the Cambridge City Council.  Please see section 5 below for a link to full transmittal letter and plans.

The middle plan with the extremely thick destruction (dark circles) is opposite the street shown in the first photo below.  The first is to the west.  The third is to the east.

All plans may be viewed in detail by double clicking.  The quality is excellent when viewed that way.

Here are some photos of the totally doomed cherry trees opposite the Hyatt Regency Hotel on Memorial Drive in Cambridge.  Since then, it looks like protection work for the non doomed trees has been completed.  Every tree in this strand is doomed.

The first photo is taken from street containing the Hyatt.  The tree on the left is NOT CONDEMNED.  The ones straight ahead are.

This magnificent tree to the east of the cherry strand was photographed on November 5, after leaves have fallen.

Excellent, simply excellent, totally unprotected in the middle of apparently final protections, and doomed.

The buoys have been added to the Charles in recent days, very clearly as part of this outrage.

And here is a winter photo of the Charles River White Geese whose Destroyed Nesting Area is almost certain to be wiped out as callously as the DCR and Cambridge have been deliberately starving them.  The nesting area is the plan immediately to the west of the first plan reproduced.

That plan is as follows:

This plan outright lies about the imminent destruction of hundreds of trees in between.  The railroad tracks run at an angle in the middle.  Hundreds of trees east of the railroad tracks are simply not shown.  One undestroyed tree out of this thick woods is shown.

Since the DCR lies that this woods does not exist, there is no telling what kind of notice will be given as to the destruction of these hundreds of trees.

3. DCR celebrates commercialization of Magazine Beach, proceeds with insulting “review” of much less destructive work there, keeps massive destruction as secret as possible.

The Department of Conservation and Recreation is destroying hundreds of trees and animal habitat with no public presentation whatsoever.

The substitute is a public presentation of the much less irresponsible outrage at Magazine Beach, include heartless starving of the Charles River White Geese, continuation of and expanding of use of poisons, continuation of the never justified starvation wall, and the destruction of the little guys parking lot.  ALL ARE NON NEGOTIABLE.

These are outrageous, but a pittance compared to the outrage construction between the BU and Longfellow Bridges including probable further destruction of the Destroyed Nesting Area of the Charles River White Geese in addition to those hundreds of excellent trees.  Which has started in lockstep with this fake review.

But they proudly proclaim that they are having public comment, and it is sponsored by the usual Cambridge type fake group.   Naturally, the lie of omission with all the even worse stuff being secret.

Charles River: Thought Control and the City of Cambridge, MA, USA

Charles River: Thought Control and the City of Cambridge, MA, USA

1. General.
2. Some personal experiences.
A. General.
B. Central Cambridge.
C. Alewife.
D. Charles River.
E. Blatant Nadir.
3. Current Situation.

1. General.

The big problem with the environment on the Charles River is the outrageous situation in the City of Cambridge, MA, USA.  This is a city which includes a lot of believers subtly controlled in many ways by the city government.

The control situation goes back to the first of the current regency of city managers.  The first one was James Leo Sullivan who returned to office in 1974 along with his faithful number two person, Robert Healy.

Sullivan had been fired by the Cambridge City Council in the 1960's.  Upon his return, he declared his intent to create a system of neighborhood associations.  That system has been created and has flourished under other “protective” groups as well.

The key in the system of groups has been the reality that these groups first and foremost are cheerleaders for the City government.  Many “activists” in the groups openly go to the Cambridge Development Department for advice.

The City Council has stated it would not recognize “neighborhood associations” which were not blessed by the city manager.  Frequently, the “neighborhood associations” were blatantly silly as far as their real existence goes, but the reality is that the city’s government expects the people it deals with to be unabashed praisers of the city government, and the techniques of the “activists” have included corrupt tactics.

The first of these supposed groups suddenly appeared when the City Manager wanted to destroy the best park in the Mid Cambridge neighborhood.  A “neighborhood association” suddenly appeared, claimed neutrality, and aggressively fought to destroy the best park in the neighborhood.

Most recently there have been fake groups “protecting” Alewife and fighting for destruction there, and on the Charles, a supposed neighborhood association which gave orders that people should ignore the Charles River UNTIL the powers that be apparently found ways to use the fake group for destructive purposes.

2. Some personal experiences.

A. General.

I have been active in Cambridge pretty much since James Leo Sullivan was rehired.

I obtained a preliminary injunction on appeal to save that first destroyed park.  Obtaining a preliminary injunction on appeal was next to impossible, but I did it.

We then lost after working in three levels of court simultaneously.  The trial judge ruled that the park being destroyed was not a park and thus did not have statutory protections applicable to parks.

About ten years later, the legislature amended procedural laws to prevent the procedural techniques which put my case in Court in the first place.

It became very clear that there was a lot of lying going on.  “Protections” fought for by the fake groups in zoning petitions were turned into lies by undisclosed fine print.  This came after real protections were destroyed in exchange for the fake protections.

The fake groups routinely fronted for zoning changes written by the Cambridge Development Department which, altogether too often, were frauds.  That secret fine print, of course.

The zoning changes fought for by the fake groups routinely were environmentally destructive.

And while the “groups” loudly proclaimed their independence, they routinely scratched each other’s backs and vouched for each other as sainthood on earth.

The “activists” proved highly skillful at controlling well meaning people and getting well meaning people to achieve the opposite of what the well meaning people wanted to achieve.

B. Central Cambridge.

I regularly wrote zoning petitions as advisor to various neighborhood groups.  The one thing that was certain was that, the further I got them away from activists in the fake groups, the more likely my clients were to succeed.

I wrote more successful zoning petitions than any other person not employed by the City of Cambridge, and my petitions did what I said they did.

My most spectacular victories concerned a very politically part of Cambridge.  This was the main street in Cambridge, Massachusetts Avenue.  I had one major victory just north of Harvard Square, but the most important ones were between and including parts of, the two main squares, Central and Harvard Squares.

My zoning changes emphasized environmental responsibility using zoning techniques, not lovely sounding words, but meaningful techniques.  I emphasized housing and first floor open space while allowing, as appropriate, pretty big buildings.

My biggest problems were “activists” in the fake groups.  Not the groups, the “activists.”

I could maneuver around the “activists” by calling out residents not influenced by the activists.  So the “activists” proceeded to change rules to give them (and thus the City of Cambridge) greater control, and to make people not controlled by them have greater difficulty participating in their “neighborhood association.”.

I impacted about 85% of the area from Cambridge City Hall to the eastern part of Harvard Square.  My biggest problems were not the property owners, but the “activists.”  My biggest shortcomings came from flat out lies and flat out corrupt tactics by the activists.

C. Alewife.

I first got concerned about Alewife when I was living in the adjoining North Cambridge neighborhood.

I was not able to organize around Alewife because I got beaten to it by a woman with the blessing of the Cambridge Development Department and thus the blessings of the fake groups.

The only positive thing that has been achieved by citizen activists at Alewife was a zoning change that caused the return of a key parking lot to the environment.  The parking lot was owned by the predecessor of the Department of Conservation and Recreation, and leased to an abutter.

I wrote that zoning change for a concerned woman who proceeded to be treated like crap by the “activists.”  When the abutter formally returned the parking lot to the environment, the fake group conducted a celebration which “neglected” to mention the zoning change, although the head of the key company specifically stated that the zoning was the reason for the return.  The guests of honor did not include the zoning leaders.

The fake group, as usual, told people to ignore potential destruction by the City of Cambridge, in the Alewife area.

Cambridge and the DCR destroyed 3.4 acres plus of Alewife.

The leader / creator of the fake group proceeded to run around Cambridge bragging about the destruction.  She even did so in the pages of the Cambridge Chronicle.

One reason I got involved in the Charles River was that I saw the fake groups supporting this woman and I knew her sales pitch.  Her success in the municipal destruction which has started at Alewife is no surprise.

D. Charles River.

This has been the repeated topic of this blog.

E. Blatant Nadir.

Monteiro v City of Cambridge.

The Cambridge City Manager destroyed the life of the head of his police review board.  She was a black Cape Verdean woman who made the mistake of believing the pious lies coming out of Cambridge on equal rights for woman.

She filed a complaint that she was being biased against because of her sex.

The then Cambridge City Manager, Robert Healy, fired her in retaliation.

The jury awarded more than a million dollars for his retaliatory destruction of her life.  The jury punctuated the award with penal damages in excess of three times actual damages.  The size of the penal award was incredible.

The trial judge quoted the city manager’s testimony extensively in her learned opinion in support of the jury.  The trial judge called Robert Healy’s behavior reprehensible.

The appeal court panel refused to dignify Cambridge’s appeal with a formal opinion.  The memorandum which constituted an not formal formal opinion cited “ample evidence of . . . outrageous misbehavior.”

Total costs in this and related cases exceeded $14 million.

The combination of decisions gave the Cambridge City Council full power to fire the Cambridge City Manager for malfeasance in office with no meaningful chance of challenge in court by the Cambridge City Manager.

The only real question was whether the City Manager’s pension could be stripped for his judicially found malfeasance in office.

More than a year after the end of the fight, the City Manager retired with honor.

The Cambridge City Council named the police station after the Court condemned City Manager.

3. Current Situation.

The Cambridge City Council is seriously considering trashing the city’s zoning ordinance in favor of a system in which appointees of the Cambridge City Manager would have dictatorial power.  “Activists” with predictable connections call the proposal enlightened.

Environmental destruction on the Charles is imminent, and total destruction of Alewife appears equally foretold.

The fake group on the Charles is telling people to look at everything except the destruction.

The fake group on the Charles is going through a great procedure of hearings on relatively minor destruction at Magazine Beach which is a fraction of the outrage pending between the BU Bridge and the Longfellow Bridge, hundreds of trees and associated animal habitat to be destroyed, almost certainly including the place where the 34 year resident Charles River White Geese have been confined without food.

And the fake group and the DCR are going through lovely procedures for the lesser destruction at Magazine Beach while tell those under their control to ignore the massive destruction being accomplished without the semblance of fair play.

That is the City of Cambridge, MA, USA.

And people controlled by activists controlled by the City of Cambridge loudly proclaim that they have an enlightened city government.

These photos are of the area east of the excellent and condemned grove of cherry trees at the Memorial Drive split.  My memory is that 83 of 105 excellent trees are slated for destruction, PLUS ALL of the excellent group of cherry trees across from the Hyatt Regency.

This will be an edited collection.

The falsely named Charles River “Conservancy” openly supported this destruction about ten years ago when fraud was not the in thing.  The destruction has not changed.  Fraud is now the open tool.

2. View of destruction, on the Ground.

a. Robin Pope, November 2, 2015

By today more zelkovas are marked for cutting than a few days back. It is bizarre which are saved and which cut.

Get [third party] to demand a map. There is no pathway I can imagine that would in any way cause some to be cut and others not. I cannot see how this helps people enjoy nature and nature survive. If any tree is claimed to be diseased a detailed account of the illness should be provided.

b. Response.

Third party identification is omitted as a matter of courtesy to the third party.

Robin may be referring to one of the many statements coming out of the Department of Conservation and Recreation. They have (my analysis) informed the Boston Globe in 2009 that all targeted trees were diseased. They are, to my understanding, no more diseased now than they were then.

I am aware of two destruction plans.

The first destruction plan was created in 2003, the same year the local transit agency determined that an off ramp was feasible to Cambridge over the Grand Junction railroad bridge in a study under very odd circumstances. Harvard bought the future Harvard Medical School area, just down the Mass. Pike from the possible off ramp, a few months later. A lot of destruction on and near Memorial Drive is, in my experience and opinion, consistent with setting things up to accept that off ramp.

The second destruction plan was created in 2009. There are striking similarities. The second reflects destruction of diseased trees in the interim.

A key lie in the plans as well, in my reading of the plans and knowledge of reality, is the omission of hundreds of trees being destroyed in the Wild Area west of the Grand Junction. The plans show exactly one tree in that area and shows it not being destroyed. All of the hundreds of trees existing in area were omitted from any reference whatsoever. The plan does show a supporting wall which does not exist.

In 2009, the DCR told the Boston Globe that all of the hundreds of trees proposed to be destroyed in 2009 were diseased. Another flat out lie in my opinion and understanding of reality.

The same trees are there now and are imminent for destruction.

3. Seventh photos of pending destruction, from October 22, 2015.

I am proceeding to the east of the cherry grove photos in the last report.

This is the area which includes the construction trailers.  I am not aware of destruction which is imminent west of the trees next to the trailers.  Since all is being done in secret and there is a severe and established problem with lack of reliability of statements from them, it is impossible to say what will be destroyed now.

This area has less trees being destroyed.

I have previously provided photos of the median and am only providing those which are different.

Destruction plans for this area are as follows.

Darkened circles are doomed trees.

The first plan includes the eastern part of the condemned cherry grove.  The opening in the median in the second plan is the end of the work zone as it currently appears.  The work trailers are in the area to the left of the opening.

As you can see, destruction continues to the west, and there is very major destruction to the west.

Destruction plans proceeding to the east include additional areas with really major destruction.  Right now, I am not aware of work being begun there YET, but things can change from day to day.  Full destruction plans are provided in the first link in section 6, 6(a)(1).

The work zone is also ambiguous at the western end.

I provided you a photo of the Department of Environmental Protection sign most of the way to the west of the Wild Area.  The trouble is, now, that there is a work zone sign much closer to the BU Bridge on that ramp.

They could be destroying the excellent tree on that ramp PLUS the WILD AREA.  Their destruction plans lie about the work they are doing.

They could be destroying the Destroyed Nesting Area again, now and furthering their heartless abuse of the Charles River White Geese.

Here is the plan for the area nearest to the BU Bridge.

But, proceeding with the photos of the area east of the ones I just gave you. These relate to the first two of these three plans.

I think I will stop here.

I find the situation so vile, and the corrupt tactics behind the destruction absolutely reprehensible.

4. DCR and fake neighborhood association celebrate commercialization of Magazine Beach, proceed with insulting “review” of much less destructive work.

a. Sainthood.

They are conducting an open house for their apparent success at fighting the quiet at Magazine Beach.

They are also hosting the second Department of Conservation and Recreation meeting publicizing the irresponsible work the two are doing at Magazine Beach.  DCR and the fake group are still silent as to publicizing the imminent destruction of hundreds of trees.

The combination of these “public meetings” with imminent massive destruction of hundreds of trees between the BU and Longfellow Bridges with no such public meeting, makes these public meetings flat out fraud.  DCR and the fake group are lying that DCR is a responsible entity which does things in public.  The approvals in legislation make no mention of destruction.

The lobbying by the falsely named Charles River “Conservancy” apparently communicated that a petition in support of “underpasses” under the next three bridges to the west also supported the destruction of hundreds of trees and animal habitat between the BU and Longfellow Bridges.  The money for the destruction was approved without mentioning the irresponsible nature of the project in Chapter 284 of the Acts of 2014.

b. More censorship.

The fake neighborhood association has been fighting for this destruction by preventing discussion while lying that they were allowing discussion and that they love the Charles River.  Business as usual.

The “neighborhood association” shut down political comment on the listserve for a period of days or weeks.  They then loudly proclaimed they were allowing all political comment.

After they censored one of my digests of blog posts reporting the imminent massive destruction by the DCR, I publicized the censoring.  That post was passed on to the listserve.

Last I was aware of, my digest of my last report concerning the fighting for destruction of open space in Cambridge by Boston residents who were demanding maximum open space in Boston, and thus preventing needed clean up of traffic on the River Street Bridge was still being censored.

My report was entitled: “Charles River:   MassDOT proposal would clean up the River Street Bridge mess.  Boston residents demand logging and increased animal abuse for gold plating in Cambridge, fight MassDOT’s excellent proposal in Boston.”

Their folks whose destructiveness the fake neighborhood association supports have a meaningful number of Boston residents who are fighting for major increases in their open space at the same time as they fight for massive destruction of hundreds of trees and animal habitat in Cambridge.  The project they (and, by its usual censorship, the fake neighborhood association) oppose would greatly reduce auto emissions in the Charles River area at the River Street Bridge.
