Cambridge, MA, USA City Council Meeting for June 6, 2022 is announced to be VERY LATE if at all.

Part of the POSSIBLE agenda for tonight is the future of the Grand Junction Railroad in the eastern / southern part of Cambridge and the Free Animal habitat on the Charles River consisting of the Destroyed Nesting Area of the Charles River White Geese and residence of untold others.

The chair announced at the beginning of the regular meeting at 5:30 pm that the Special Meeting scheduled for 6 p.m. to interview and select a new City Manager will proceed promptly at 6 pm.

She also announced a sign up for public comment for the regular meeting which will run past 6 p.m.  And announced that public comment will also be conducted at the beginning of the special meeting.

If they hire a City Manager tonight, it is highly unlikely, I would think, that the regular meeting will proceed after the hiring.
